Anyways, she signs up for a voluntary research experiment headed by the Doc where they try to tap into the full potential of the brain, think Dr. Now, Sam actually pissed me off during the book because she was basically an idiot, as in she didn't care about the severity of her actions.oh no, she knew what she was doing so can't blame ignorance.

Victoria Henderson and war vet Sam Fielding. Break any rules and it's not death but "reset." The government controls pretty much any all scientific research and breakthroughs that they feel they can use to hold on to control. The new government has a bunch of stupid rules and of course there is one about homosexuality, as in not allowed. The story takes place in a time after a great war where one country or power takes control, think V for Vendetta if you will. I loved the concept behind it, I loved most of the plot behind it, I don't know if it delivered what I hoped it would (if that makes any sense).

So this is the first book in the series and I really don't know how I feel about it.
